When a hug is out of the question.

Last week’s vlog on Lockdown Trauma connected with so many of you that it seemed the right week to dig into how we create emotional connection, remotely.

In this vlog, Meg Peppin shares her insight into creating warmth through our screens, it reminded me of our need for “hygge” as the nights draw in.

Alongside her practical tips, what stands out for me is the quality of Megan’s attentive listening and how beautiful that feels. She left me a little high from her focus and her smile.  Simple attributes that are important to remember as we crash into new new rounds of restrictions that will leave many isolated and/or overwhelmed.

Next week:

Lately, a few of you have shared with me how sick you are of being talked over. So I’ll be exploring how—and how not—to increase your visual power and authority on Zoom, even if you only have five minutes spare before it starts.

Expect Superwoman outfit spins with earrings and lipstick.

See you then!
